The Olmsted

Brenda is amazing! We had a fantastic time! The food was wonderful. We didn't have to worry about renting chairs, tables, table cloths, etc. IT was all provided. Now, we did have to book a year in advance and get married on a Friday because those were the only days left in that particular month. The Olmsted books up fast, so if you want a magical gorgeous setting without having to worry that it will look fantastic and all come together and can't afford your own wedding planner, than this is the way to go! It is kinda expensive, but it's cheaper than say the Brown, Henry Clay, Garden Court, Seelbach, etc. When you have to rent your place setting, table cloths, chairs, tables, and so on, it gets pricey..

The Olmsted provided a very equisite service. The staff was excellent--we didn't have to do anything. The food was great and everyone had a great time at the reception. We also had our wedding there, on the outside grounds and that was great also. The only issue was that there were sometimes errors in the payments, which I caught, but it happened several times. However, I wouldn't change this location for anything!

You can't get any better than The Olmsted! They provide the chairs, tables, linens, china, silver and glassware, door butler and more. Brenda Bush, Director of Special Events, handles every little detail and makes everything seamless. She always answered my email promptly and was a joy to work with. The Olmsted is well worth the cost. Every detail is taken care of and you don't have to spend time running around town pricing linens or tables.

Working with Brenda Bush at the Olmsted was an absolute breeze. She was so wonderful, and very helpful. It was like booking a reception location and a wedding planner all in one!

I cannot say enough nice things about the staff at The Olmsted. Planning was a breeze and Brenda was a wonderful coordinator. The day of our wedding we were waited on hand and foot. The elegance of the Olmsted is a major draw, but the staff is what sealed the deal. Our guests were knocked out.

The Olmstead was a beautiful location. I had my prom there and I knew I wanted my wedding there as well. Brenda was so helpful and made my day so relaxing. They make you use Masterson's catering and they are wonderful!! There was a lot to choose from.
