The Gardens of Park Hills by McHale's Events and Catering

We're really glad we chose The Gardens of Park Hills (The Arbor Room). The staff, especially the night of the wedding, were extremely helpful. We had lots of options, and the minimum of 5 hours included in the package was excellent. One of the biggest complaints I hear brides say is they wish they would have gotten an extra hour, but we got 5 included!

We had our event in the Vista room and Kaitlyn was our event planner. The staff at McHales was exceptional and went above and beyond to meet all of our catering and event needs. Everything from food, to napkins, to room layout, to coordination of our vendors was handled smoothly and professionally by McHales so that as the Bride I didn't have to worry about a thing. They were prompt in all communication and efficient/thorough so that I did not feel stressed during the event or its planning. My family and my husband and I were more than pleased with the services provided. We felt that they went above and beyond what we expected from a catering company and would recommend McHales' venues and catering to other couples looking for a reception site.

McHale's is WONDERFUL!!! From the very beginning, our coordinator was helpful, responded quickly to ALL my questions. The food was fantastic!! I had people telling me that it was the best reception food they have ever had at a wedding. They were very accomadating to food allergies that we had in our wedding party, and she said her modified meal was delicious as well. The value is great!!! The money you pay for all the amenities that are included is uncomparable to anywhere else.

The staff did an amazing job on the day of our wedding. We were in the Vista Room and it was amazing. The staff was constantly checking in to see if we needed anything, and making sure the rest of the guests were taken care of.

We had our reception in the Vista Room at The Gardens of Park Hills & nothing could have been more perfect!!! The staff here is AMAZING! From the planning and all through the entire event everything was outstanding. We felt like royalty the day of our wedding. The food, the servers, the banquet managers, the flow and the outstanding service could not have been better! We have been getting so many compliments about our wedding & the service all of our guests were provided. It's so nice that everyone got treated so special on our important day. We can't thank you all enough for all your hard work, your amazing service & attention to details. You made our wedding so special and we're so glad we chose you to take care of our day. I had worked with McHale's catering before and I knew they had good service, prices and, most importantly, food. I wasn't disappointed. Megan Foltz was our coordinator and she was easy to reach and took my ever changing mind in stride. The Gardens offers a really nice package with a lot of extras (passed wine and appetizers, 5 hour reception, free use of projector and screen in Vista Room, etc.) and it's a nice room that's easy enough to transform into whatever you want it to be. Also the service that day was outstanding. I did find out later on, however, that they had moved my cake table to access some stairs and as a result, my cake was a little lopsided. More on that in the cake review. For future brides, put the cake on the side of the staircase by the bar. No reason for it to be moved then.

The employees did a great job keeping the flow of the reception. They cleaned up and separated our stuff and packaged everything for us. The management was very kind and thourough in making sure we had exactly what we wanted

McHale's did a great job listening to our needs to make our wedding just the way we wanted. They offered a good price for their services considering we had such a small wedding (75 guests).

I was very happy about our choice of venue for the reception. The Arbor Room's decor is very neutral and went very well with our fall wedding. They allowed us to pick table cloths, napkins, room set up, and chairs. They were very accommodating for decorating the night before. The one downside is that they require the use of a licensed cake maker... Overall, a wonderful experience
