Take the Cake

My first cake girl bailed on me 4 months before my wedding! I was in a panic. I interviewed a couple of people who still had spots open and decided Ann was the girl! She is a bit pricy, but the cake turned out very well! I started out with a picture off the internet that I wanted my cake to look like except I wanted the sugar flowers a different color. She did a really great job replicating the feel of the cake! If I could have changed anything it would have been to make the base fondant color more of a cream instead of a white like it was in the picture, but it was probably my fault for not communicating it to her (3 months before the wedding is very hectic) and it still looked beautiful white too! And it tasted so good as well! We got a white chocolate cake with strawberry and lemon buttercream filling and her Orange Mandarin Cake. Both were AMAZING! They weren�t dry at all (which happens a lot with wedding cakes). She was really great working with us so close to the big day with our other girl bailing on us like that. Would definitely recommend if you can afford.
