Excellent food! Our guests were very happy, even the hard to please ones. They were very willing to work with our price range and were extremely understanding. We lost our catering a month before the wedding and they stepped right in. Did everything for us and highly professional and nice. I'm so glad we chose to book here.

We had our reception here and it turned out beautifully with very little fuss. So much was included in the VERY REASONABLE rental price, that we didn't have to worry about much of anything the day of. They were even willing to include some of our personal touches at no charge. The food was good, though not spectacular, but definitely worth the price. I had much worse at pricier venues! This is a great choice for <200 guests.

Phyllis and the gang at St. Matthew's Catering were so professional. I gave them an original drawing of what I wanted my cake to look like and they made it happen. Best part, it tasted delicious too. My guests raved about the strawberry!

The wedding cake was awesome!! We had a pearls and ivory and gold theme and the cake was perfect. Ivory icing, ivory edible pearls all over the cake, and ivory and gold ribbon trim. It was beautiful. Also had a tasting before choosing the cake flavors - very helpful! Decided on carrot, raspberry swirl with raspberry filling, white, and lemon with lemon filling. YUM!! (The name of this particular cake is Pearls and Ribbon). Also cake prices very reasonable especially compared to others we looked at. ($2.50 per person including cutting.)

I was extremely happy with the Kroger Catering & Banquet Hall... the ceremony and reception were PERFECT! More people showed up for the wedding than had responded, so the workers at Kroger quickly set up a few more tables - no problem! For the service and amount of food we had, the price was a lot cheaper than any other place I had looked into. I'm so glad I booked the Kroger Banquet Hall!

I called several times to speak with someone about the design for my cake - it took almost a week to get any type of response from them. The day of the wedding they were supposed to provide snacks for my guests while we took pictures, those snacks were never provided. Also, I have a picture of my cake design to the caterer and what they produced was miserable. The iced roses fell off of the cake before people started arriving and the rose petals that I wanted on the top of the cake were nowhere to be found. We tried contacting the catering service and have not gotten a response.

Don't let the name mis-lead you! The Kroger Hall is beautiful. It is very classy and could be used for a more traditional wedding to a very modern wedding. The decor worked with my theme as well as other brides' themes who chose to have their wedding there also. I booked rather early but the staff was willing to work with me even though my wedding was over a year away. The staff took care of everything. All I had to do was tell them where I wanted things and they did it all. I walked in the night of the reception taken away because the room looked exactly how I had dreamed it would. In all of my searching I didn't find a better deal than at the Kroger Catering & Banquet Hall.

Paul was Great to work with. All of the servers even dressed up in beach attire for the reception. It was definitely something I'll never forget. Plus, you couldn't beat the price, or the quality of the food. Everyone was RAVING about it

Kroger has an excellent selection of food items, ranging from a full sit-down meal to appetizers. The prices were great for food, rentals, and waiters.

I had my reception here, the food ran out but they were quick to remedy the situation. I loved the fact that all their personel that were at the reception wore very nice tuxedos.
