It is expensive, even for members but they were great about letting us set up the night before, and our minister was amazing. The chapel requires very little decorating wihich is nice.

SCC provided the perfect setting for our ceremony. The staff at SCC are so helpful and were so easy to get in touch with to get everything organized in the months leading up to the big day. The wedding chapel is beautiful and they have several different lighting/greenery options and will work with you to make it look the way you want to suit your taste. I loved that a "point person" who will coordinate your ceremony was included and ours did a phenomenal job coordinating our large wedding party. There is plenty of parking. The only negative aspect I can think of is the church can be a little difficult to find for out of town guests, but SCC gives you a wedding handbook which has in it the address and how to write out directions. SCC will also allow you to tie ballons or bows on the handrails so that guests can easily locate the correct doors to enter since it is a large facility.

My bride and I were thrilled with how smoothly our ceremony at Southland went. We have been members of Southland for years, so we knew the coordinator and supporting staff would be competent and willing to ensure a seamless event! They did a fantastic job!

Southland did an outstanding job working with us on the venue for our ceremony. They helped plan the day and the rehersal. They did a great job for us.

Phyllis did such a wonderful job keeping everyone very organized and keeping us informed. Everything from the start of the ceremony to the end went very smoothly and, as the bride, never once stressed about anything because I knew it was taken care of. Everything was wonderful. :)

We enjoyed having our wedding at Southland. The wedding coordinator was great and informed us of everything that we needed to have done prior to the wedding. There was even an incident in which the mother of the groom and father of the groom's seats were taken by another family member who refused to leave, she very politely asked them to find other seats, we didnt even know that happened until after the wedding:) she took care of everything before, during and after the wedding.. it was great and loved every minute of it!

The wedding planner that was included in package was extremely helpful and relieved a lot of stress from the bride's perspective.

We didn't really shop around different ceremony venues, because we knew we only wanted to get married at Southland. That being said, we're really happy we got married there. I think the price is very reasonable for everything you get. Phyllis was a pleasure to work with and really made the ceremony run smoothly and so that we didn't have to think about any logistics on the day-of. She really listened to us and worked with us to make the ceremony our own. We were given a ceremony template, but I essentially wrote the whole ceremony myself, which our minister did not have any problem with. The chapel doesn't need much decoration, the stained glass and front altar are beautiful on their own. It holds a lot of people, but really seems small and cozy, which we loved. It wouldn't make any wedding look empty. Our pictures turned out beautifully and everyone raved about the ceremony. We definitely recommend getting married at Southland!

The wedding experience at Southland was a wonderful experience. The facility met our needs, the staff was professional and accomidating. We highly recommend The Chapel and Southland as a whole.
