The bakery lost my wedding cake order, so i DID NOT HAVE A WEDDING CAKE!!!! I tried calling the week before the wedding to check on the cake status, and I got no answer. I went to the store and the store was shut down. Luckily I had paid for the cake upfront and saved my receipt. After freaking out on my wedding day, I had a local store make me 8" red velvet, carrot cake, chocolate, vinilla, and cheesecake for my special day. My husband called the better business bureau and got a manager's number for the business. The manager apologized for the inconvience and thought that was enough. My husband made sure that we got our money back for the cake, and made the company pay for all the small cakes made by the other store. I am sure that I could have taken him to court and gotten more, but I just wanted this to be done with. I have warned everyone bride I know to not go to the business. This was the only stressful part to my wedding. To all future brides in the Richmond, KY area, DO NOT GO TO PARKE PASTRIES!!!
