Cathedral of the Assumption

This church was the best place to be married! I have such wonderful memories of our day there! I had wanted to get married there since I was a little girl and we made it happen and it was absolutely perfect! LOVED it!

The venue is absolutely stunning. The wedding coordinator was an excellent help on the rehearsal and wedding day. The cathedral choir added beautiful music to the ceremony including their own blessing (via song) while we lit the unity candle. I higly recommend this venue and the choir.

This church is obviously gorgeous, given that it is the Catholic Cathedral of the diocese. We knew exactly what we wanted by way of our liturgy and so that helped a lot. We worked very closely with the sacristan and our piano player and they found a wonderful oboe player for us. We were active in the parish which helped a lot in planning the wedding. We did not find it to be expensive. You really don't need to do a lot of decorating because the place is so gorgeous. If you tried to decorate with flowers, it would cost you TONS of money because the space is so expansive. It's better to try to just work with the natural beauty of the location.
